During the program, participants will receive data support to facilitate a seamless learning experience. Moreover, an Equipment Grant totaling N90,000,000 will be awarded to the top 300 participants, enhancing their capabilities even further.
The initiative has been made possible through collaborative efforts with esteemed partners in the ecosystem, including Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Google, Meta, and Microsoft. Over the course of five phases since 2018, the ICT and Business Skills Training has been successfully implemented in 16 states, namely Abia, Adamawa, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Borno, Cross River, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kogi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Oyo, and Rivers. Thus far, an impressive total of 4,036 young individuals have completed the program, contributing to their personal and professional growth.
As the initiative enters its sixth phase, a cohort of 3,000 youths will partake in the ICT and Business Skills Training, with the collaborative support of Microsoft and Meta. The upcoming phase promises to be highly enlightening, featuring specialized training tracks:
Microsoft will deliver modules on Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age, ICT for Business Success, and the application of Generative AI skills.
Meta will provide expertise on developing Skills to Build Brands and Grow Businesses Online through their innovative Meta Boost Small Business Studios.
